Ledesma and his love for Lazio: “I dream of coaching them, but first I have to train as a coach”

The former Lazio midfielder, Cristian Ledesmaspoke about his experience as a coach and the future possibility of leading the Biancoceleste team to the microphones of Sports Time. These are his words: “I am on my second coaching course in Italy, which qualifies me to work with any professional youth sector and also in Serie C. I founded a football academy about a year and a half ago and I currently coach a team very prestigious university in Italy, which plays in the fifth division.

I am becoming more and more passionate about this experience and I want to continue improving with the second course. The goal is to grow as a coach without neglecting our small football school, where we look after 260 kids. We must continue on this path, build something significant for young people and, at the same time, grow on a professional level too.”

On Lazio, Ledesma added: “I have a special relationship with the fans. I played there for ten years, I fell in love with the club, with its history, and I became a fan. As a player I experienced the best moments of my career. For me it was the place ideal to end my career as a footballer, even if it didn’t go like this. I don’t want to coach Lazio just because I played there: I’ve never called the president, with whom I have an excellent relationship, to ask for a role. prove that I’m up to it, and then maybe seize an opportunity
