Buffon in the aftermath of Italy-France 1-3: “Les Bleus certainly didn’t hit us”

The Head of Delegation of Italy, Gianluigi Buffonspoke to the microphones of Sky Sports on the sidelines of the presentation of the Kings League in the Italian version of Gerard Piqué. These are his statements following the Azzurri’s defeat against France in the Nations League:

“There is disappointment because for what we have done since September we would have deserved at least to finish in first place. But this is life: you fall, you get up, you fall back, you get up again. We have done it before, we will do it again this time, in my opinion with more awareness. Yesterday we perhaps deservedly lost against a strong national team, but conceded all three goals from as many free kicks. France certainly didn’t hit us with balls.”
