Bari, Di Cesare: “Sassuolo is a team that can compete in a championship of its own”

Guest of Sports Radio, Valerio Di Cesareformer captain of Bari today manager of Gallettireleased some statements about his moment and that of the formation of Moreno Longo: “New role? Everything is completely different. It was certainly better before (laughs, ed.). I consider myself lucky, because I stopped playing and immediately took on a new role. I’m learning a lot from director Magalini and this is what I want do after. I feel the games more than before, because I know I can’t do anything.”

Space, then, for an evaluation on the construction of the squad: “A lot has been done in the transfer market from the first moment, working with ideas. We are convinced that we have created a good team that is proving that it can compete with anyone. At the moment I only see Sassuolo as a team that can compete in a championship of its own due to the quality of the players, even if Pisa and Spezia are doing very well. But we can compete with anyone.

The goal is set by the pitch, but in my opinion we can do well. If everyone can perform at 100% we can get some great satisfaction. When you are in Bari you have to compete: the city deserves Serie A. There are 30-40 thousand people at the stadium and we will do everything to please them.”
