Rummenigge: “Surviving the Bernabéu is complicated, but my friend Guardiola teaches…”

The legend of Bayern Munich, Karl-Heinz Rummeniggewas interviewed by As to present the second leg of the Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid. These are the statements of the former CEO of the Bavarian club:

“I know what awaits us because I have experienced it many times, both during my time as a player and during my time on the board of directors. Surviving the Bernabéu is complicated. But getting to the final is possible, you can beat Real Madrid. Leipzig has demonstrated this over the last 16 years and my friend Pep Guardiola also recently demonstrated that problems can be created for Real Madrid at the Bernabéu. It helps us that goals scored away from home no longer have double value, so we start again from 0 -0. I have faith in the Champions League version that Bayern has shown throughout the season.”
