The Manchester City moves ahead. THE Citizensas reported in today’s edition of Mirrortalks have begun for the renewal of Erling Haaland: according to what was reported by the English tabloid, the club is thinking of increasing the salary to 2 million euros per month, for a total of 24 million pounds per year.
The objective is therefore to bring forward the expiry of the current agreement (30 June 2027) to prevent the player from being able to be released on a free transfer. At the moment, however, there does not seem to be this risk, in recent meetings the entourage has confirmed the player’s desire to remain in the Premier League. We are therefore working on the figures and duration, but above all on the release clause of 150 million pounds: the player’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, wants to keep it while the club would like to eliminate it in the next renewal.
In the meantime, the citizens are enjoying the Norwegian’s moment, with 12 goals in 11 games played. Two hat-tricks scored – against Ipswich and West Ham – a golden moment also in the Champions League, with three goals in 4 games. Meanwhile, Real Madrid remains on the sidelines, but in the event of a renewal it will not be easy to convince Manchester City to sell a fundamental player.
