At the end of the draw with Casertana, Giulio Parodidefender of Foggia, expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress, highlighting in particular the improvements in the defensive phase. “We are making progress from every point of view, especially in defence. Not conceding goals in two consecutive games is a good sign. We work a lot on our attitude, which is fundamental to moving forward. With the new coach I see a more serene team, who takes to the field with a smile and the desire to improve.”
Parodi then spoke of the new mentality introduced by the change of technical leadership, which aims at a more proactive construction of the game: “The mentality has changed. We are trying to build from the bottom, creating scoring opportunities that have been missing for months. With Capuano we aimed more on the result than on the game, while today we are rediscovering that idea of football that we had at the beginning, trying to get to the area with game patterns which allows us to play with enthusiasm and you can see it in training.”
Concluding, Parodi underlined the importance of the new attitude: “I see a team, which I didn’t perceive before. It’s an important change that is allowing us to grow as a group and face difficulties with the right spirit”.
