Hungary, illness for Szalai, coach Rossi: “He is not in danger, the referee has someone”

Fear in Amsterdam in the match that ended 4-0 for the Netherlands against Hungary: during the first half Adam Szalaiwho recently joined the coach’s technical staff Marco Rossi, he collapsed and was taken to hospital. The match was suspended for 10 minutes and then resumed.

At the end of the challenge, Rossi himself confirmed a M4Sport of not having much news, but knowing that he is well: “All I know is that he is conscious, able to speak, I heard that there is no danger to him. We wish him the best.” Rossi could not say what exactly happened to Szalai, he revealed that there were no signs of what happened. He then explained: “The referees asked us if we wanted to continue, I told the players that the decision was theirs. They held a council and decided to continue. Then the penalty arrived immediately and our fate became much more difficult.”
