The Portuguese defender arrived in January after recovering from a long injury Tiago Djalo since he moved to Juventus he has not yet made his debut in Serie A. At the end of January the Juventus club snatched him away from Inter who would only sign him at the end of the season and on a free transfer, but this early arrival has not produced results so far. The former Lille player has in fact always sat on the bench and it is not a given that he will be able to make his debut before the end of the season.
‘Gazzetta.it’ explains that at the moment the idea of his farewell on loan is making room at Juventus: Djalò needs to play and for this reason Giuntoli will evaluate the possibility of selling him on a temporary basis in the next transfer window.
Last January 22, Juventus announced the financial details of its purchase with this press release: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that it has reached an agreement with the Lille Olympique Sporting Club for the definitive acquisition of the right to the sporting performances of the footballer Tiago Emanuel Embaló Djalo for a consideration of €3.6 million, payable in three installments during the 2024/2025 financial year, in addition to additional charges of €1.5 million. Bonuses of up to a maximum of €2.6 million are also envisaged, upon the fulfillment of certain sporting objectives and/or conditions. Juventus has signed a sporting performance contract with the same player until 30 June 2026.”
