Francesco Palmierisporting director of Sassuolo, spoke to TMW Radio during Maracanà focusing on Laurientè and Thorstved, requested by many clubs in the summer but remained to help the club return immediately to Serie A.
Laurientè and Thorstvedt: how satisfying it gives you to see certain elements still have such an impact:
“We know their value, they have immersed themselves in reality very well, they have the utmost attention from us and they know that they are in an important club. They are demonstrating their value even in such a difficult championship. We hope together with them that this desire to continue remains to achieve an important result. We know that they also received attention from other clubs in the summer but we had the strength to make important choices which are bearing fruit.”
Grosso’s choice also goes in this upward direction:
“The right man at the right time. He has immersed himself very well in reality, it seems that he has been here for some time. We have created a cohesive group, capable of doing things well. Fabio is demonstrating his value with facts”.
