Lazio, listen to Guendouzi: “Trust has been gained between the national team and the club. Playing as a ’10’? It doesn’t scare me”

Even though it was an easy race for the Francein the end Israel managed to hold it at 0-0 and the top of the League A, group 2, Nations League table is now occupied by Italy with three points more. In all of this, however, in the match played yesterday at the Stade de France there were those who really didn’t see the pitch, except from the bench, and it was Matteo GuendouziLazio midfielder who, however, did not make a drama out of it: “We are all different, each with a different mentality, but everyone has the quality to be here, we just have to remain natural, ignore the pressure that can come from selection and have fun. There are more or less complicated periods, but you always have to give your best.”

The fact is that in recent months, according to what the 25-year-old former Marseille player told, there has been a positive evolution: “I’m still the same, I haven’t changed, I’m still myself. I’ve certainly matured, but on the pitch I’m still the same player, who always gives my all. I have also gained a lot of confidence in the national team and at club level, and this is also going very well. I’m in a positive phase, so we have to make the most of this positive moment.”

As for the national team, the possibility of playing in the number 10 position could arise. One thing he isn’t worried about in the slightest: “It’s a position that could be good for me too, it’s a position I’ve already held at Marseille and Lazio. Yesterday Warren (Zaire-Emery, ed.) not only played as a 10, but also had to switch with the other midfielders, it’s a position with a lot of responsibility. It doesn’t scare me, I’ve already played it”, he comments.
