Radamel Falcao has definitively entered the history of Colombian football. The 38-year-old striker scored his 347th career goal to become the most prolific Colombian player of all time. It happened on the Italian night, in the championship match between his Millonarios and Boyaca Chico.
“Yes, yes, yes, yes! The “Tiger” is the greatest scorer in history!”, he underlined on X the Colombian Football League. With the goal scored in the 93rd minute of the match won 5-1 by his team, Falcao surpassed Victor Hugo Aristizabal, a former international who played for Atlético Nacional, Valencia, Sao Paulo and Cruzeiro.
Falcao scored 36 goals with the national team – of which he is also the historic top scorer – and 311 with the club: 83 in four seasons in Monaco, 72 goals with Porto, 70 with Atlético Madrid, 45 with River Plate, 12 with Rayo Vallecano, 20 with Galatasaray, 4 with Manchester United, 1 with Chelsea and 2 with Millonarios.
After a long stay in Europe and a final experience at Rayo Vallecano, from 2021 to 2024, the Colombian landed this year at Millonarios, a Bogotà club of which he has always been a great fan and where he had played in the youth sector. He made his professional debut in Argentina 20 years ago with River Plate and now he has finally made history in front of his fans.
