A statue in Times Square to celebrate the 40 years of CR7: “will spread love and positivity”

Yesterday Cristiano Ronaldo He celebrated 40 years and some of his millions of fans gathered in Times Square to admire the bronze statue more than three meters high created by the sculptor Sergio Furnari to pay homage to the Portuguese champion. The work has been transported to a jeep and does not yet have a fixed location, but will be carried around in a sort of “world tour”.

The artist hopes that the statue becomes a “cultural lighthouse”, reminding future generations the impact that Ronaldo had on sport and spreading “love and positivity”. The goal is also to bring the monument to visit hospitals to inspire children.
