Devyne Renschnew full-back of Romegave his first interview as a new Giallorossi player to the club’s official channels. Here is an excerpt: “First of all, I don’t even have the words to say how happy I am. This club is incredible. At the first contact we had, I immediately thought: I want to come here. A really great club, full of positive energy, I love everything about this club, it’s fantastic. Even the colors are really beautiful, as is the city. It took me a second to decide: I wanted to come here.”
What convinced you to choose Roma?
“I want to first of all thank the Friedkin family for inviting me here to play for this wonderful club. From the first invitation I received, I immediately thought that I absolutely wanted to come here. My family also loves this city, this club, everything. So , for me there was no hesitation in choosing to come here.”
How can Ranieri help you in your personal growth?
“I think in many ways. I’m a young player, so I definitely have to learn a lot. With all the experience he has, I can learn so much from him. I also think I can learn a lot from the whole staff. That’s also why I am came here, to learn so much from him and through him”.
You’ve already made an important decision by moving and playing in another country. What are your expectations from a technical and practical point of view?
“It certainly wasn’t a difficult decision, because my family and my dream have always been to play here in Rome and in Serie A. I’m technical and use both feet, so I want to improve these characteristics here. Furthermore, in the defensive line I can I can play many positions and I want to improve in this aspect too. I want to demonstrate that I know how to play with both feet and in many different roles.”
