Roccati on Kvaratskhelia: “Napoli does things against market logic but is always right”

TMW Radio

To the microphones of TMW Radio the former goalkeeper and coach Marco Roccati he spoke about many topics, also focusing on the now imminent farewell of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Napoli:

Atalanta, how do you rate Carnesecchi?
“He is doing very well, he had a year in which he needed to get to know the championship but the more time passes, the more he establishes himself at a high level. I am close to him, as a child he wanted to stop playing, at 14 he was at Cesena and the club wasn’t in good shape and his father said he was fed up. We made him change his mind. When we saw him as a kid we thought he had quality and was very calm, he had the attitude of a great goalkeeper with your feet, then He’s always had personality. He has the qualities needed to become a top-level goalkeeper. He doesn’t feel the pressure of the match.

What can you tell us about Kvaratkshelia, who you met at Napoli?
“I knew him little, because I didn’t go to the pitch but I went around to see the players. I knew he had quality but I didn’t follow him much. Are Napoli losing a lot? It’s one of those clubs where they managed to do things against all logic market and they have always been right. If they give it away they have their reasons, ADL has worked miracles.”
