Spartak Moscow has offered 15 million euros plus bonuses for the signing of Torino-owned Serbian midfielder Ivan Ilic. Negotiations underway between the two clubs: president Cairo is asking for just over twenty million to close, but there is confidence in the success of the operation with the former Hellas player who should sign a contract valid until June 30th with the Moscow club 2029.
Regardless of how this negotiation ends, Torino is still intent on purchasing a new midfielder and in the last few hours has reactivated contacts with Chelsea to Cesare Casadeia footballer who has also been treated by Napoli in recent weeks.
In recent days Urbano Cairo, president of Torino, spoke thus about the present and future of his club, also connecting to the transfer market: “I have never lost the desire. I’ve always had the desire to strengthen Toro and I still have it, it hasn’t gone away. I’m focused: we’re in January, it’s a difficult month because you want to bring in players and maybe other teams don’t give them to you. You read a lot of things, maybe one doesn’t sell a player and sells another. You have to be careful not to make operations that are out of order.”
And in yet another passage:“We have many discussions underway, we are thinking about many things: we hope to be able to do something that we like. January is a very complicated month: in 2022 we carried out a good operation with Ricci, then also Ilic. It is not certain that we will be able to reply, but we are still at the 11th of the month. We are working.”
