Udinese looking for a new goalkeeper. Negotiations advanced with Haugesund for Selvik

With Maduka Okoye sidelined due to injury and the Udinese goal currently entrusted to deputy Razvan Sava, it is not surprising to know that the Bianconeri from Friuli are looking for a new goalkeeper to be included in the squad already during this January transfer window. And it could be a coup in true Udinese style, an international profile that will be particularly unknown to most, also and above all considering the latitude of the world in which he plays.

According to what was revealed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Udinese would in fact be in Negotiations advanced for the signing of Norwegian goalkeeper Egil Selvik on a free transfer (27 years old).

Born in 1997, in recent seasons he played in his homeland with Haugesund, a team of which he was captain. In recent weeks the goalkeeper of the Norwegian national team has also received offers from Spain and Belgium, but Italy at the moment seems to be the most plausible destination. Selvik would take on the role of deputy Sava given that Okoye will still have it for a few months after the injury suffered at the end of 2024.
