Another Dane for Inzaghi? Pisa follows Meister from Rennes

The Danish colony at Pisa could increase with the Tuscan club which is on the hunt for a compatriot of the midfielders Oliver Abildgaard And Malthe Hojholt and the attacker Alexander Lind – all arrived last summer – to further strengthen the squad available to Filippo Inzaghi.

As reported The Nation the Nerazzurri management is in contact with Rennes for the center forward Henrik Meisterborn in 2003, leaving the French club where in this first part of the season he was unable to carve out space for himself, making just four appearances, for a total of 59 minutes, with a goal on his debut against Lyon. Since the end of September, however, the center forward has been on the fringes of the Rossoneri club which paid him 7 million euros last summer.

Rennes, who are in the midst of saving themselves, want to get rid of the player and are working on the formula for the transfer, also taking advantage of the good relations between his agent Jim Solbakken and Pisa with whom he has already dealt with several players in the past such as Seboulonsen from Brondby, Bohinen from Genoa and Askilsden from Midtjylland. These negotiations did not come to fruition, but they did not compromise the relations between the parties which could now finally produce white smoke.
