Through the columns of La Gazzetta dello Sport the Minister of Sports, Andrea Aboditook stock of 2024 which is about to end and outlined the cornerstones of the work that awaits the world of football in the coming year. Starting from the reform of the ‘Melandri Law’:

“The first draft is ready. It is currently at the Ministry of Business and ‘Made in Italy’ for appropriate sharing, then the consultation phase will begin
also with football leaders and its components: I plan to present the decree by the first quarter of 2025, perhaps even earlier. It will take into account the technological evolution that is changing the very idea of the boundaries of the national market and reducing the distance between the content, its owner and its user. And then it will redefine mutuality, with a reworking of the model, both horizontally, in Serie A, and vertically, for the benefit of the football system. I hope that the Major League works more effectively on the value chain, especially at an international level, where vision, strategies and alliances are needed.”
