Despite a championship stopped over the weekend, with the restart scheduled for January 5th, in Serie D there were several movements on the benches, which arrived after the first turning point. After the dismissal of Mister Matteo Serafini, the Fanfulla, third from last in Group B, has entrusted the team to coach Giuliano Gentilini who, as stated in the press release, “brings with him a CV of great prestige, both as a player and as a coach. As a footballer he played in Serie A with the shirt of Bologna and Vicenza, with which he won the 1996 Italian Cup /1997 under the technical guidance of Guidolin, and in Serie B with Chievo Verona, Padova and Reggiana.
It is not his first experience with Fanfulla: in 2008 he wore the black and white shirt, leaving a positive memory despite his short stay.
As a coach, he led the youth teams of Como and Pro Patria before arriving in Eccellenza with Milanese, where he led the team in the first part of the season reaching third place in the group. Now he arrives at Fanfulla with the aim of reviving the season and achieving salvation.”

Then going down to the south, in Group I, Nuova Igea Virtus announced “that it has finalized the agreement with the coach Luigi Panarelli, who will sit on the Giallorossi bench.
Born in ’76, originally from Taranto, he enjoyed an important career as a footballer in the role of midfielder, wearing the shirts of Naples and Turin in Serie A, together with those of the famous squares of Foggia, Avellino, Andria, Crotone and Taranto in Serie B. His coaching career has also been full of satisfactions, with promotion to Eccellenza, achieved with Altamura in 2017, and two Serie D playoff finals with Taranto and Andria, the team with which he faced his first professional experience. Last season he led Matera in Serie D and, after a brief period in Manfredonia, he now arrives in Sicily, to sit on the bench of Nuova Igea Virtus, in his first more southern experience of Serie D.”

The triptych then concludes, going to Group H, the Virtus Francavilla who made it known “that they have entrusted the technical guidance of the First Team to Mister Antonio Rogazzo. The coach, born in 1973 and originally from Naples, after a long career as a footballer in the professional leagues, had his first experiences as a coach at the helm of the Primavera della Nocerina, S. Antonio Abate and Arzanese, and then collected a long international experience alongside Fabio Cannavaro in China and Saudi Arabia.
In the last three seasons he led Nola, Polisportiva Santa Maria and, in the 22/23 season, Team Altamura in Group H of Serie D”.
