From Paulo Fonseca to Sergio Conceicao. Milan has decided to change after the lack of continuity in the results obtained so far by the Rossoneri team. A decision, that of saying goodbye to Fonseca and relying on the former Porto player, which according to what TMW gathered came directly from Gerry Cardinale. Therefore not by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but it was directly the ownership with Cardinale in the lead who decided on the Fonseca-Conceicao rotation.

The Club thanks Paulo for his great professionalism and wishes him the best for the future.”

The decision comes exactly 199 days after the announcement by the Rossoneri manager Zlatan Ibrahimovic (it was June 13th), who had spoken thus of the new coach of the Devil: “The new coach of Milan will be Paulo Fonseca. We have studied well, we have set criteria on what we are looking for and what we want: with a lot of thought we have chosen Fonseca to bring his identity of those players we have, for how we want the team to play with a dominant and attacking game. We wanted to bring something new to the players: we studied how he coaches, how he plays, how he prepares the matches San Siro, after five years. With these players we have, Fonseca is the right man, we are very confident and we believe in him.”
