Lecce’s report cards – Falcone saves (almost) everything, Krstovic evanescent

Final result: Como-Lecce 2-0

LECCE

Falcone 7 – Yet another feat from eleven meters confirms his extraordinary feeling with penalties: he hypnotizes Paz with a feline intervention that keeps his team afloat. Also reactive on Strefezza’s poisonous conclusion, he can do nothing on Paz’s masterpiece and Cutrone’s strike. His confidence between the posts remains one of the few happy notes of the evening in Salento.

Dorgu 5.5 – Complicated evening on the left-handed lane, where he suffers tremendously from the initiatives of a Strefezza in a state of grace. In constant difficulty in defensive closures, he never manages to present himself with continuity in the offensive phase. Young age cannot always be a mitigating factor.

Baschirotto 5 – The penalty foul on Cutrone is symptomatic of a performance full of uncertainties. He lacks the usual security in interventions and preventive readings. The verve of the offensive tandem from Como systematically puts him in difficulty. Evening to forget.

Jean 5.5 – Various errors in the setup phase which trigger dangerous opponent counterattacks. Not always precise in advances, he struggles to find the right measures on Cutrone. His performance reflects the general difficulties of the department. From 60′ Oudin 5.5 – His entry does not bring the hoped-for benefits. He limits himself to ordinary administration without ever turning on the light.

Gallo 5.5 – Too timid interpretation of the right wing. He limits himself to containing without ever presenting himself with conviction in the offensive phase. His push was lacking for the entire 60 minutes he was on the pitch.

Coulibaly 6 – The only one to save himself on a bad evening. His overhead kick on the goal line to deny Strefezza the goal is a highlight. For the rest, a lot of running and sacrifice in the middle of the field. From 84′ Bonifazi sv

Pierret 5 – First half to forget, with an impressive series of balls lost in dangerous areas. Giampaolo takes it away at half-time to try to shake up the midfield. From the 46th minute Kaba 5.5 – He immediately had a chance but was opposed by the defence.

Raffia 5 – Phantom performance in the middle of the pitch. He never manages to find the right position to affect the maneuver. His usual dynamism remains a distant memory, dominated by the Como midfield.

Pierotti 5 – You see very little in the attacking midfield, where he never manages to create numerical superiority. The warning further affects an already deficient performance. From 84′ Sansone sv

Krstovic 5 – A timid attempt after 33 seconds, then total darkness. Isolated up front, he never manages to keep a playable ball for his teammates. The Salento attack inevitably passes through his feet, but tonight the Montenegrin is not in the evening. From 60′ Rebic 5 – Does not change the inertia of the game after his entry.

Dying 5 – On the band it never manages to turn on. His ideas are predictable and rarely put the Como rearguard in difficulty. An anonymous performance that photographs the negative evening of the entire offensive department.

Marco Giampaolo 5 – His Lecce never manages to be dangerous and proactive. The team appears too passive and defeatist, suffering the opponent’s dribble for long stretches. The changes do not have the desired effects and the feeling is that a precise identity is missing. The ranking is becoming worrying and an immediate change is needed to avoid being sucked into the hot zone.
