First half very good: are you a team capable of managing the final minutes with dribble?
“I would focus more on scoring the third goal, today was the perfect match to do it. If you don’t do it, you invite the opponent and with a half chance they can equalize.”
Difference in mentality compared to the start of the season?
“Before the first goal, we were on the pitch in a great moment while afterwards we lowered our level. In the second half we tried to continue attacking, today was the perfect match to end with the third goal and then we could manage it as we did with the City”.
The most discordant note is how did the first goal conceded come about?
“I agree, we committed a situation that we cannot afford. These are things that cannot be repeated, at our level.”
Unbeaten for 18 games, like Antonio Conte did: what did you learn from being Juventus coach?
“We improve every day, thinking above all about how to improve the team by facing opponents with the awareness of our strength and that of others. We think about the Super Cup, improving some aspects and giving continuity to those done well.”
Are you still thinking about the championship?
“We continue to think about the next match, as at the beginning of the season. Now we think about Milan and the Super Cup.”
