Luca Pandolfistriker of Citadelhas released some statements through the columns of The Gazzettino after the victory in the Salvation clash against Reggiana from last weekend:
“We achieved a great victory against Reggiana but we also did well against Cremonese and all we were missing was a goal: we are happy to have returned to winning at the Tombolato, in front of our fans. We must enjoy the victory in the right way, in the sense that we need to prepare for an important and difficult match in the best possible way, to face it with the right attitude, otherwise the three points collected against Reggiana will be of little use to solve our problems: it will be a tough match against Südtirol because Castori’s teams are always physical, aggressive and good on second balls.
On Saturday we showed that we are alive, when in fact there were many who already thought we were dead: we gave everything, we wanted this success at all costs and we achieved it with merit. If we give continuity to the results we make progress, slowly climbing the rankings: with a couple of victories everything that happened before is erased, we talk about other things, but at this moment we are still there, in the slums, and we only have to concentrate on how get out as soon as possible.”
