PARMA
Suzuki 6 – He can do nothing about Coppola’s gap, for the rest he is just tickled with phoned shots and has a good presence of the goal. He can’t do anything about the other two goals either.
Delprato 5 – He tries to give support to Man and Haj on the right, he does it alternately. Defensively he concedes a lot: Sarr burns him at 1-2, at 1-3 he comes out badly against Suslov.
Lions 5.5 – Verona has a lot of freedom at the start to play the ball inside the penalty area, he handles the complicated situation with more quality than his teammate. (From 67′ Hainaut – )
Balogh 4.5 – Ready-go he lets Sarr escape, then from the next corner Coppola jumps on his head. A difficult start which perhaps affects the confidence with which he intervenes. Even at 1-3 he makes a smooth shot that opens up the field to his opponents.
Valeri 6 – He immediately saves his team with a great diagonal shot that blocks Sarr, then he charges forward with his runs.
Estevez sv – He returns to the pitch, but leaves after just 6 minutes due to injury. (From 8′ Haj 6 – He brings freshness forward, even if he fails to sting. Create havoc).
Sohm 7 – Good at being in the right place, at the right time to make it 1-1. Then a lot of quality in traffic and when he has to put his leg in he doesn’t hold back. Finally the pearl of 2-3 which enlivens the finale.
Man 5 – The opportunity he doesn’t take advantage of one-on-one with Montipò at the start is enormous, as is the moving penalty he sends out in the second half. This is why the serious insufficiency in a match where his team relies on his plays and where he tries to establish himself as a reference by aiming for repetition.
Hernani 5.5 – Deployed to provide balance, he is not very brilliant in his plays and is often late in coverage, in fact he gets a yellow early and is then replaced. (From 46′ Keita –)
Chancellors 5.5 – He finds no openings in a defense that is not as exemplary as that of Verona, today he is controlled more than usual. (From 46′ Almqvist 6 – It takes him 30 seconds to make clear his desire, immediately coming close to scoring. Good impact on the match and he tries practically alone).
Bonny 6 – “I’ll take care of it”, he seems to say after the goal his team conceded early on. He takes shots, shoots as soon as he can, then invents the action that leads to Sohm’s goal, he opens the door wide for Man who wastes it.
Coach Fabio Pecchia 5.5 – Parma does little, too little to win this match. Just the play of some individuals, not a good sign after a positive period for his team despite the defeats against big names like Atalanta and Inter.
HELLAS VERONA
Montipò 5.5 – Su Man is there, but the attacker shoots right at him. Maybe he could have done a little more on Bonny’s shot that led to Sohm’s goal, but the ball passed between a thousand legs in front of him. Same doubt about Sohm’s second goal.
Dawidowicz 5.5 – He doesn’t give the impression of great defensive solidity, the quality of Parma’s attackers suffers a bit.
Coppola 6 – Immediately the goal that shakes his team. At the back he dances a little with his companions, but he holds up.
Ghilardi 6 – Man suffers a bit and limits what he can. He saves Bonny’s shot off the line, but it’s unfortunate that Sohm is there to repeat it into the net.
Tchatchoua 6.5 – Attentive performance, has little space to reach the bottom. Expert in stopping Cancellieri who could have flown to the net. Then the third goal comes from his descent on the right which opens the door for Livramento.
Duda 5.5 – He risks a penalty in coverage, even Haj goes away with ease. Better in setting, where it is not particularly inspired anyway.
Belahyane 6 – It’s true that his role is more that of building, but Bonny is not Mbappé and is too easy to walk across the pitch in a horizontal line and kick undisturbed in the 1-1 draw. He doesn’t support Duda enough in the build-up, then he grows and gains confidence, even coming close to scoring.
Harroui 6.5 – Very active, with the usual quality. Two kiss assists that testify to his technique. However, he missed the second goal and it was a great chance, then he replied before getting hurt with another bad mistake. (From the 67th minute Livramento 6 – He comes in and immediately becomes dangerous with a good initiative, then he takes the 1-3, but luckily for him Mosquera is there to reiterate the goal).
Lazovic 6 – The sprint-like acceleration he makes to stop Man after a quarter of an hour speaks well of his performance, more one of sacrifice than imagination. He gives Harroui the ball to make it 1-3, his teammate wastes it. (From 67′ Mosquera 7 – Veni, vidi, vici: he enters and coldly puts the game on ice, scoring the 1-3).
Suslov 6.5 – He gives Harroui the ball to double the lead, his teammate takes away the assist and wastes it. He intelligently manages the balls that pass through his area. At 1-2, before taking a beating from Delprato, he makes a play that opens a highway for Tchatchoua and leads to the third goal. (From 85′ Dani Silva sv).
Sarr 7 – Active, lively, annoying. He conceded the ball to make it 1-0, he was blocked, but he was there. And at the start of the second half he takes the goal with rare voracity. (From 67′ Daniluc 6 – His entry was positive in trying to help give breathing space to his teammates and peace of mind in a good phase for his team).
Coach Paolo Zanetti 7 – Navigate the storm, arriving with a thousand plus one difficulties. Yet his team enter with a hunger that makes it clear that the desire to fight for this salvation is certainly there and does not wane for the entire 90 minutes.
