Parma, Pecchia: “When you give an advantage like this to your opponent it becomes difficult to recover”

The Parma coach Fabio Pecchia he spoke in the press conference from the Tardini at the end of the disastrous home defeat against Hellas Verona: “It seems quite clear what happened: we created but at the best moment we lost the match. Too much naivety that we paid dearly for. We were in the game, always, with desire and final efforts to recover it. But when you give an advantage like this to the opponent it becomes difficult to recover.”

Many points left along the way:
“We drew with Lecce, won in Venice… It’s a balanced championship. There are two different ones, the upper part and the lower part, but we need to score points. It’s a shame to leave points at home, but all the games must be played, to one hundred minutes, without naivety that would compromise the match. We created a lot today, the match must take a different turn. We take note of the final result, we must continue to work and look forward.”

Did Hellas’ speed suffer?
“In the first half we managed well and reacted to the goal conceded. Great disappointment for the second goal, we were in a good moment, we found ourselves defending a ball in the open field when we were creating something important.”
