Monza’s report cards – Turati innocent, Birindelli proactive. Maldini not very incisive

Final result: Lecce-Monza 2-1

Turati 6.5 – He keeps his team afloat by hypnotizing Krstovic from eleven metres, he flies to remove Berisha’s remote-controlled free kick from the crossroads.

Izzo 5.5 – Ready, set, he gets caught out of position: Morente flies towards the goal with belligerent intentions, unable to block his path. From 67′ Senses 5.5 – Low pace, doesn’t raise the level.

Seas 6 – Of the defensive package he is the least hesitant, he unravels some situations and tries to convey some confidence to the whole department.

Caldirola 6 – He finds a starting shirt again after a month but his return is not lucky: he has to leave the field early. From 39′ Carbons 5.5 – He comes in cold and doesn’t seem very ready, not very reactive in closing.

Birindelli 6 – The most proactive in the first half, he exposed Dorgu’s defensive limitations: a couple of runs would have deserved better luck. From 79′ Pereira sv

Bondo 5.5 – He gives too much freedom to Berisha, he grows at distance, eradicating several balls but not enough to achieve the pass.

White 5.5 – Landslide on Dorgu, sending Lecce to the spot. He generates Dorgu’s own goal, he dives in and scores but it doesn’t count. From 79′ Maric sv

Kyriakopoulos 5.5 – Uncovered by Pierotti on the occasion of the second goal, in the second half he found the back of the net with greater continuity but was imprecise with his cross.

Maldini 5.5 – In recent weeks he seems to have lost a bit of luster, he only lights up in flashes: great ball to Bianco but offside. And a couple of lopsided conclusions

Caprari 5 – He should add a bit of creativity in the attacking midfield, but he doesn’t find the opportunity to put the Giallorossi defense in difficulty. From 67′ Forson 5.5 – Unforgettable entrance.

Mota 5.5 – The equalizing ball falls on his feet, but he shoots it into the corner from an excellent position. Try to do better, without finding the door.

Alessandro Nesta 5 – A nightmare first quarter of an hour, Turati’s leap saves him from collapse and Dorgu’s gift puts him back in the game. But the limitations in the implementation phase nailed it once again. The loss of Djuric deprives him of his main reference forward, where there is a lack of valid alternatives.
