Juve Stabia, Pagliuca: “We knew how much the people cared about us. The goal is salvation”

Juve coach Stabia also spoke in the press room Guido Pagliucavery happy for yet another positive result obtained by his team away from home and for having brought home a derby which was especially felt on the yellow-blue side and which will remain in the history of Campania football. Here are his statements: “We faced a strong team, in a hot stadium: the roar after the equalizer was loud, it was important. I have to congratulate my players. We are the youngest squad in the championship, a newly promoted team , but we are trying to behave in the best possible way by studying the matches and showing enthusiasm and light-heartedness.

We knew they would come man for man and we were able to concede few scoring opportunities and start on the counterattack, even though we sometimes made the wrong choice at the time of the last pass. It’s clear that there is great joy, we know how much the fans cared about this result and this morning they came to cheer us up before leaving for Salerno, touching the right chords with meaningful words. They are an added value, the relationship with them is important and we must always give our best for the shirt and for the people. From tomorrow, however, we will humbly begin to prepare for the next match, knowing that the young age of the boys must force us to correct the mistakes and concentrate solely on achieving safety.”
