“A difficult evening, again, an evening in which it is difficult to find explanations.” Interviewed by Sports Mediaset, Danilo commented on the disappointing draw of the Juventus against Venezia, closed with tense spirits between Dusan Vlahovic and part of the Juventus fans: “We are all focused on doing better for Juventus, there are certainly evenings in which things don’t go well and we have to improve quickly. On Tuesday we already have the opportunity to play in the Italian Cup, which is one of our objectives and try to give an answer”.
Is it a technical question or also a mental one?“
Attacking is always more difficult than defending, in football and beyond. Venezia took advantage of the opportunities, but we must take responsibility for playing the game and taking a step forward. Without frenzy, but we have to improve quickly.”
The disagreement between Vlahovic and part of the curve?
“I tried to calm them down, on our side there has always been respect towards the fans and also on their part, with incredible support. The important thing is to unite the environment and everyone try to do the best for Juventus, as it is always been.”
Is there a bit of pressure?
“It’s normal for those who play for Juventus, who are used to always winning and are a heavy team. We have to get used to it quickly and get used to seeing a bit of impatience among our fans, perhaps in a penalty.”
What do you say about the future and the interest of other clubs, for example Napoli?
“With all due respect for the teams associated with my name, I will be at Juventus until June. I will only go if they come and tell me that they don’t want me anymore, but I have signed a contract and I want to stay, out of respect for my teammates, fans, of my history and of what I have built here at Juve. Then we’ll see.”
