In his interview with The Pressthe Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi he also spoke about the summer rumors that spoke of his bad mood and an alleged desire for a change of scenery:
In the summer, rumors emerged that he was impatient with his playing time at Inter: is it better now?
“At that moment my only thought was finding the right bait to go fishing in Sardinia. I obtained permission to practice my other great passion: underwater fishing. Then my brother got involved and it was a disaster. I was afraid he would hit me with the harpoon. He was making such a mess with his fins and rifle.”
Why do young people in Italy have to go through a very long process before convincing the big clubs?
“Basically there is something wrong. Even if, when you arrive in a big team, you understand that it is difficult because you have to win and therefore it is not easy to insert young people. But in small teams more could be done. The youth championships , including the Primavera, they are not coaches: they do not prepare for professionalism. I remember when I played in the Youth League: the opponents were twice as good as us. It is better to go and play at 16 in Serie B or C Also for the experience of life: you change city and group. The Under 23 team isn’t as educational because you get there with teammates you’ve been playing with for a long time.”
