Iervolino convicted of corruption. Milan: “The president and Salernitana don’t stop”

Salernitana continues its journey, confirming its commitment to the three-year project previously announced by Danilo Iervolino, which aims to guarantee significant results for the club and its supporters. “There is no risk of disruption,” he said Maurizio MilanCEO of the Granata company and close collaborator of President Iervolino. The statement comes after the sentence of the Court of Naples which sentenced the owner of Salernitana to four years in the first instance. In response to the news, the club issued an official note in which it is underlined that the matter is not linked in any way to corporate management and that it will have no impact on daily activities, both on an economic and organizational level, thanks to the presence of figures competent in every sector.

When asked if Iervolino’s legal affairs could influence the club’s future, Milan categorically excluded this possibility. He underlined that, despite being tried by the incident, the president has no intention of neglecting his commitments, including those relating to Salernitana. “The evening before the sentence we were together at an event and we discussed the plans for the club at length,” the CEO recalled, reiterating Iervolino’s dedication.

When questioned about the judgment of the Court of Naples, Milan expressed full confidence in Iervolino’s honesty. He stated that he is sure that the president will prove his innocence through the relevant forums. “I am close to him and I firmly believe in his integrity as a person,” concluded Milan, underlining his support for Iervolino and his confidence in his non-involvement in the legal matter.
