United, Hojlund on Amorim: “We need time to train on the pitch, but we don’t have it”

Rasmus Hojlundwho scored a brace coming off the bench in the 2-1 win against Viktoria Plzen, spoke to the microphones of Manchester United TVexplaining a little his feelings about the match: “At the beginning it was a bit difficult. We had to read them, they played man for man, so then we had more control after the coach’s speech in the 45th minute. In the second half we we had plenty of other chances and we killed the game. I think the match suited my characteristics well. The opponent was brave to play man-to-man and that’s where I have my qualities, running into spaces and killing defenders with my speed and power.”

Hojlund he continued: “I’m very happy with the two goals, but the most important thing is to get the win and get closer to the round of 16. It’s very important to understand the movements. The manager is also trying to play with players who complement each other very well, so yeah… that’s a good thing.”

Bruno Fernandes’ assist was fantastic.
“I saw him do it with Martial. I have physical strength, I pushed the opponent, he turned and I kicked.”

How do you find Amorim?
“We still need time. It’s still very early. It’s about getting our routines together and we’re getting there, but we still need practice and time. I know it sounds strange, but we don’t have enough time to train on the pitch, so we have to do it during the games. We’re getting better and better.”
