London is one of the most “frescoed” metropolises in the world and in the English capital it is not uncommon to come across murals depicting the footballers of the various teams in the city. On Hornsey Road, near the Emirates stadium, there are some dedicated to Mikel Arteta and his boys but also to the “unknown” Nicolas Jover. Who is it about?
The fans of Gunners they are particularly fond of the Frenchman, one of Arteta’s collaborators who has a very important role: he is the one who takes care of dead balls and therefore all the credit goes to him for the goals scored from free kicks by Havertz and co. Since Jover’s arrival three years ago, Arsenal have become the team that has scored more goals from set pieces than any other team in the Premier League. This season they have made 23, eight more than any other team in the top flight. For this reason, Arteta’s assistant was honored in this way by his supporters.
