FIFA has awarded the 2030 and 2034 World Cups! In six years we will return (also) to Europe

FIFA has officially assigned the venues for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups. Spain, Morocco, Portugal and a part of South America (Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay) will host the next World Cup. Then it will be Saudi Arabia’s turn, in 2034. The double decision was taken through the vote of a virtual congress of the international football federation, but there was no doubt given that the two candidacies found themselves alone in the running for each edition.

“I can officially confirm that the hosts of the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be Morocco, Portugal and Spain. It is with great pleasure that I announce that the centenary celebration matches as part of the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay!”, declared FIFA President Gianni Infantino during the congress.
