Napoli-Lazio 0-1, the report cards – Lukaku, where have you gone? Isaksen, the goal of maturity

Final result: Napoli-Lazio 0-1

Napoli’s report cards (edited by Raimondo De Magistris)

Meret 6 – After 20 minutes he countered Isaksen’s shot from the edge of the area with a non-trivial intervention. He fails to reply in the second half, but the shot launched by the Dane in the 78th minute is truly uncatchable.

By Lorenzo 6.5 – The duel with Zaccagni is complicated, but he comes out excellently. Politano’s proven shoulder in the offensive phase.

Rrahmani 6 – He gets a yellow that is too naive for a player of his experience, but defensively the performance is impeccable. Always in the right place.

Good morning 6.5 – He is confident and provides another flawless performance. Irreplaceable.

Olivera 5 – Sometimes full-back, sometimes winger, sometimes Lukaku’s shoulder. Excellent performance until the episode that, in negative, decides the match for Napoli: on a 40 meter vertical pass he loses time and Isaksen, the result is the goal that decides the match.

Anguissa 6.5 – Tonight the best of the Neapolitan midfield, the most lucid in a match conditioned by rain. He also comes close to scoring: with twenty minutes to go he chips the post with a header. From the 91st Folorunsho sv

Lobotka 6 – At the start of the second half he lost a poisonous ball and Dele-Bashiru hit the crossbar. Decent game with some inaccuracies. From the 82nd Gilmour sv

McTominay 5.5 – Ready to go and he has one of the most important opportunities of the match available but Provedel puts his body into it. Then he gets lost a little: always in the heart of the game, but often imprecise when the decisive play needs to be made. From the 82nd Raspadori sv

Politano 5.5 – It starts out strong but then too ordinary. He fails to make the decisive move. From the 76th Neres sv

Lukaku 5 – Suffering match, many shots with the Biancocelesti centre-backs and few balls played. From the 91st Simeon sv

Kvaratskhelia 5.5 – In the first half he shouted continuously because he was too far out of Napoli’s game plan. The situation doesn’t change much in the second half: he doesn’t dance in the rain.

Antonio Conte 5.5 – Another defeat against Marco Baroni. This time, with the starters, another match takes place. More balanced. But in the pouring rain his Napoli melts. It’s too imprecise.

Lazio report cards (edited by Marco Pieracci)

Provedel 6.5 – Quick reflexes on McTominay’s right, he repeats himself on Anguissa. He follows Kvaratskhelia’s free kick with his gaze. It conveys a lot of confidence when going out.

Marusic 6.5 – Kvaratskhelia only becomes dangerous from a set piece, he simply carries it on his weak foot. Excellent understanding with Isaksen.

Gila 7 – He takes over Lukaku, to whom he is careful not to give support: he doesn’t allow him to move his sights on Provedel.

Romagnoli 6.5 – Together with his department partner he cuts Big Rom out of the game. Clean in his interventions, he unravels various situations: in one of these he even gets hurt. From 61′ Patric 6.5 – Recruited in a hurry, he does his duty without batting an eyelid. He closes from a screen in front of the defense.

Nuno Tavares 6.5 – Direct train, it doesn’t make any stops: it picks up where it left off before the injury. At the cost of conceding something. From 90’+3 Lazzari sv

Guendouzi 7 – Evening as a playmaker, Rovella plays the role of the situation by moving back the range of action: he dictates the playing times, he also does everything else. You find it everywhere.

Dele-Bashiru 6.5 – Aggressive to the point of stalking Anguissa, he follows him everywhere. He shakes the crossbar with a crazy stone.

Isaksen 7.5 – The first to kick decisively towards Meret’s goal, he also knows how to double up: he also does a great job in the defensive phase and decides it with a champion’s solo. And if he also starts scoring… From 90’+3 Gigot sv

Dia 5.5 – A bit of an attacking midfielder and a bit of a second striker, the sacrifice to put pressure on Lobotka is appreciable but he doesn’t sting up front. From 73′ Pedro 6.5 – Scattered flashes of class: the launch for Noslin as a business card. It increases the quality rate.

Zaccagni 6 – Nuno Tavares almost acts as an added winger, freeing up space for him to unleash the run. He puts himself at the service of the team.

Castellanos 5.5 – Rrahmani and Buongiorno are not the latest arrivals, with his continuous movement he never puts them in difficulty. Stay in the shade. From 73′ Noslin 7 – Napoli’s executioner three days ago, this time no hat-trick but it is still decisive: fantastic assist for Isaksen.

Marco Baroni 8 – Antonio Conte’s kryptonite: after knocking out experimental Napoli from the Italian Cup, three days later he conceded an encore in the championship. It’s a little tougher against the starters, but the chromosomes of the great have now been implanted in this team. And no objective must be precluded.
