This morning the Milan had to take note of the muscle injury that occurred to Christian Pulisica striker who stopped during the match against Atalanta on Friday evening when he left the pitch during the first half. The tests undergone by the player, author of an extraordinary start to the season, highlighted a low-grade lesion of the soleus muscle of his right calf.
Rossoneri coach Paulo Fonseca will therefore lose the American striker for at least a couple of matches: specifically, Pulisic will certainly miss the matches against Red Star in the Champions League and in the championship against Genoa.
To establish a certain return date, the clinical examination that Pulisic will undergo next week will be fundamental. Milan will face Verona away on 20 December and Roma at home on 29 December, then there will be the Italian Super Cup which will be played in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of January (the semi-final against Juventus is scheduled for 3 January, the eventual final instead on January 6th against the winner between Inter and Atalanta). Milan will clearly do everything possible to recover their player as soon as possible who, in this first part of the season, has put together a total of 20 matches in all competitions with 8 goals and 6 assists.
