Roma have found Mats Hummels again. Claudio Ranieri’s return to the bench coincided with the success of the German centre-back in the Giallorossi, who has taken up an increasingly important space in the capital. The difficult start to the season is just a memory for Hummels, who today is one of the pillars of Roma. Ranieri – we also read in Il Messaggero – has restored dignity to a player of Mats’ caliber, always snubbed by Ivan Juric.
Hummels ended up on the sidelines of the project with the Croatian coach, not convinced by his physical condition. Mats was therefore ready to leave Rome to return to Germany but Ranieri’s arrival changed everything, clearly for the better.
