(ANSA) – FLORENCE, DECEMBER 09 – Edoardo Bove will have a subcutaneous defibrillator implanted tomorrow after the illness he suffered on 1 December during the Fiorentina-Inter match: the operation will be carried out at the Utic, the Cardiological Intensive Care Unit in Careggi where the 22-year-old Viola midfielder has been hospitalized since last Wednesday.
According to the hospital’s health protocol, in order to be discharged it is necessary to insert the defibrillator as Bove arrived at the facility with a problem that turned out to be of a cardiac nature. The important aspect, as learned from sources close to Fiorentina, is that the debrifiller is removable and therefore the player, once all the results of the tests carried out in recent days have been collected, will also be able to decide to remove it in total autonomy.
Bove is expected to leave hospital between Thursday and Saturday next.
