The midfielder also stood out in Arzignano Valchiampo’s beautiful victory against Atalanta U23 Francesco Cerretelliauthor of the goal – the third of the season – which unlocked the match and started the success of the Venetians. Interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb.com the class of 2000 started with the scoring against the Nerazzurri, then focusing on other topics between the past, present and future.

In the aftermath of the Eurogoal scored against Atalanta, I ask her if she achieved what she did and how important the goal she scored is for her and for the team.
“Yes, definitely a beautiful goal as well as an important one. He has even more value because he contributed to bringing the team the 3 points. Yesterday’s victory should give us greater awareness to slowly build something beautiful.”

He is playing consistently and his performances are of an absolute level. How is it at Arzignano Valchiampo?
“Yes, so far I’ve done good numbers. I definitely don’t want to settle. The competition is there and it is valid, this encourages me day after day to train even harder.”

What is your relationship with Mr. Bianchini?
“Since Mister Bianchini arrived we have completely changed our path. On a football level he was very good at working on the points where we were lacking. Without inserting too many notions we started from not wanting to concede goals. As far as the human level is concerned, I think he is a real person, difficult to find in this world.”

What is your goal regarding this season both personally and as a team?
“The team’s objective is to create a winning mentality that can allow us to compete with everyone. It would be nice to reach the play offs without having to play an anonymous championship. As for the personal side, I would like to raise the level of performance and improve the numbers I have now. It all depends on me. I would certainly like to relive days like yesterday.”

Last year with Carrarese you were promoted to Serie B, do you feel ready perhaps for a championship of that type in the future? When you reach a similar goal you often also remain tied to the environment. Do you still follow Carrarese? Was it a milestone in your career?
“Carrara for me was a fundamental stage in my journey, I had two wonderful years concluded with a historic promotion to Serie B. I would have liked to stay to compete with a higher category, also because in words I had been promised things which unfortunately they didn’t happen because from this year I was back on the over list in Serie B. Despite this, I remained on very good terms both with the club and with my former teammates. I follow them and support them every match, I hope they can maintain their category because they deserve it both for what they are expressing and for the effort they have put in to get there in Serie B.”

In the summer he signed with Taranto, then everything fell through. Did this give you more energy?
“Yes, I had chosen Taranto among the requests that I received together with my agent Niccolò Delli Navelli. We immediately liked the square for its coat of arms and Mister Capuano had wanted us very much. Then unfortunately some unpleasant corporate events happened. There were no longer any conditions to stay. We then seized the opportunity that Arzignano gave us and now we are making the most of it.”

Regarding your Lega Pro group, do you think Padova is the favorite team?
Padova at the moment is more of a team than Vicenza. Mister Andreoletti, who I respect a lot on a football level, is doing a great job, and the results are proof of this. The championship is still long, Vicenza on paper has players of greater value and more experience. It will be a good fight.”
