Sebastiano Esposito is revealing himself in Empoli. And Inter has not set a counter-payment

Empoli continues to fly on the wings of enthusiasm and of a ranking that sees the Tuscan blues regularly stationed in the left side and keeping the dangerous waters of the relegation zone away. The 4-1 victory at Hellas Verona on the last weekend of Serie A is nothing if not a confirmation of the great form of Empoli, who in recent days also celebrated the victory on penalties in the quarter-finals Italian Cup in the heartfelt derby against Fiorentina.

Among the image-men of this Empoli there is certainly Sebastiano Esposito (22 years old). The mobile striker born in 2002 repeated and improved on Wednesday’s great cup night (he scored the 2-2 goal against Fiorentina, before the decisive penalty scored in the series) in the Sunday match against Bentegodi, in which he left his mark with a double. There are now 6 goals in his season, when we are still in December.

Esposito’s card is formally still owned by Inter having left on loan, but Empoli has a pre-established right of redemption in the summer for 5 million euros. And the Nerazzurri, on the other hand, cannot boast the counter-ransom but only a percentage of the future resale. After Fiorentina, Esposito himself spoke like this about his dreams in the Inter universe: “I made my debut there, I spent years there in the youth sector and I also made my debut and played in the Champions League. I’m certainly very fond of Inter, they gave me a lot I can’t think about it right now, in May we’ll take stock and see.”
