Trento, Tabbiani: “Sorry about the defeat, we would have liked to celebrate the record of useful results”

After the defeat against Novara, the Trento coach Luca Tabbiani commented in the press room: “It’s a shame to come out defeated in this match: we would have liked to celebrate all together the Club’s absolute record of consecutive useful results. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Honestly, I saw a good Trento which for large stretches also expressed good football. I come away from this match even more aware that we have a good team. In some situations we worked less well, for example on some preventive marking, but the feeling was that we had dominion throughout the match.

From a qualitative point of view it was a well played match, during which the boys worked positively on many things. Unfortunately we found ourselves 2-1 down without understanding why and then, in the second half, despite attacking continuously, we also conceded Novara’s third goal. And this was a hard blow. We have to get back to work immediately knowing that two complicated races await us but during which we will do everything we can to get back to winning precious points.”
