Sodinha, the shocking memory: “Fight in a kebab, saved by a friend who pulled out the gun”

Felipe Sodinhaformer Brescia footballer, shared a shocking episode during the Chiacchiere al Bar Sport podcast. The former attacking midfielder said he was involved in a fight one evening in Milan and was saved by a friend who pulled out a gun.

What happened that evening in Milan?
“I had just returned from an evening at the disco with some friends. Passing by a kebab, I thought the chef had insulted me. It wasn’t true, no one knew me in the center of Milan, but at that moment I was sure of the opposite”, said Sodinha.

Taken by impulse, he stopped the car and confronted the restaurant’s cook. Even though the man had a large knife in his hand, Sodinha didn’t hold back: “I grabbed him by the neck and insulted him.”

How was the situation resolved?
“The kebab guy was about to hit me with the knife, but then my crazy friend intervened. He pulled out a gun and tried to calm the situation by saying: ‘We’re not doing anything, we’re not doing anything’.”

Tensions escalated when more people gathered outside the venue, but the friend managed to convince Sodinha to leave before the altercation escalated further.

How would you describe that period of your life?
“When I drank, I was a disaster,” admitted the Brazilian, reflecting bitterly on a moment of slip-up that profoundly affected him.
