Sensational indiscretion coming from Spain regarding Inter’s transfer market. According to the Catalan newspaper ‘Sport’, the Nerazzurri club could bring Sadio Mané back to Europe, a 32-year-old striker who has played for Liverpool and Bayern Munich in his career and is currently playing for Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club.
Mané is currently linked to the Saudi Pro League club by a contract valid until 30 June 2026 but – we read – he is evaluating the possibility of returning to play in Europe and Inter is carefully following the evolution of this situation.
The Nerazzurri president Giuseppe Marotta expressed himself as follows two days ago regarding the possibility of strengthening Inter in January: “I don’t know, we are always active and we are already looking to next season. We can carry on this season with this homogeneous and well-led group. There are injuries in all the teams, but with the personnel available we can cope to our numerous commitments.”
Then in another passage he added: “Is the objective to win the Champions League? In sport you have to be rightly ambitious and not arrogant. Inter participates to get the most out of their opponents. We’re fine, we’ll try to get the best out of them and then if there are stronger teams we’ll give them compliments.”
