Napoli attacks Patrick Dorgu, right winger of Lecce born in 2004. Today’s edition of the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ takes stock of this negotiation: the idea of the Neapolitan club – we read – is to buy the Danish footballer already in January to get ahead of the competition, leave him in Salento until the end of the season and then bring it to Castel Volturno starting next summer.
Tottenham and Chelsea also made moves for Dorgu last summer, now Leipzig and West Ham are working hard. But with this strategy that allows Lecce to enjoy Dorgu’s performances until the end of the season, Napoli expects to have a fast track. For his part, Pantaleo Corvino values his member’s price tag at a very important figure: 40 million euros. Napoli would like to close for around 30 also thanks to the will of the player, flattered by the interest of Napoli and Antonio Conte.
Pantaleo Corvino expressed himself thus on Dorgu in recent days: “He has the stigmata of a champion. He lacks nothing.” Then on the choice Giampaolo added: “I love coaches who work a lot on and off the pitch, and for many hours a day. Giampaolo has a vision and ideas in which I recognize myself, and he leaves nothing to chance. For him there is also headquarters.
