Barça mini-crisis, Flick teases the attackers: “The goals count and not many have arrived”

November, fortunately, is over and now Barcelona hopes to return to winning ways against Mallorca. The sixteenth matchday of LaLiga begins tomorrow: “The best news is that the month of November is behind us, we are in December. The team gave a lot, we dominated and created opportunities but we didn’t finish them correctly. It’s true that we are the team youngest in the championship and we must continue to learn many things if we want to fight for victory. When the match gets complicated we must be united,” he said Hansi Flick in conference.

Do you fear a collapse of the team?
“There would be many things to talk about about the match against Las Palmas, but I don’t want to because it would seem like I’m making excuses and I don’t like that. The team could have won the match and now we feel this pressure. Concentration is fundamental, we have to take advantage of the opportunities. The team, as I said before, tried to play, we had more than 70% of ball possession but in football what counts are goals and lately we haven’t scored much.”

What is the most urgent thing to correct?
“There’s always a reason why you concede a goal. When we defend as a single block things go well. Instead it often happens that we lower the pressure and leave too much space.”

Are you starting to worry about refereeing decisions? Everyone believes that Cubarsi was a penalty.
“No. We depend on ourselves: when we played better we won. I’m not concerned with that and I don’t want to make excuses.”
