Pisa and Cosenza will face each other today at the Cetilar Arena, in the match valid for the 15th matchday of Serie B. Two teams will face each other with different objectives: the Tuscans, in fact, occupy second place in the standings on equal points with Spezia and they are aiming for direct promotion to Serie A. The Calabrians, on the other hand, are fighting to stay in the cadet championship and are in 15th place with 15 points, two points away from the third to last. The match will be directed by Marco di Bello from the Brindisi section, assisted by the assistants Di Giacinto and Bitonti and the IV Uomo Di Cicco. Var and Avar, however, were entrusted to Di Paolo and Minelli respectively. Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm.
HOW PISA ARRIVES – The hosts arrive at the match against Cosenza looking for redemption, after having suffered their second defeat of the season in the last round of the championship in the derby against Carrarese: the Nerazzurri, left numerically inferior due to the expulsion of Idrissa Touré already in the 26th minute of the first half, they were mocked in the 89th minute by the goal scored by Bouah. Mister Inzaghi will have to deal with injuries and the formation choices will be almost obligatory: Moreo is recovered, but unlikely to start from the start, while Tramoni and Mlakar cannot make it and could be available again in the next round. Touré out due to disqualification.
HOW THE COSENZA ARRIVES – Excellent form for the Calabrians who have achieved six consecutive useful results and have not lost a match since last October 6th against Sudtirol. In this period, Massimiliano Alvini’s boys have collected four draws and two victories, moving above the red zone of the standings, and show up at the Cetilar Arena hoping to trip up Pisa who, however, this season, are still undefeated among the house walls. The coach, for the occasion, has called up 23 players: Florenzi absent due to suspension, as well as Strizzolo and Zilli, both struggling with physical problems.
