Giuseppe Marottapresident ofInter spoke to the microphones of Sky Sports after the decision to suspend the match against Fiorentina due to the illness suffered by Edoardo Bovemidfielder of the Tuscans:
“The managers of the Viola team went to the hospital, I spoke with Daniele (Pradè, ed.) a little while ago and I’m here to express Inter’s closeness, but I believe it applies to the entire football world to the family and to Fiorentina. The choice to postpone the match was spontaneous on the part of all the protagonists, we are a community and when these emotionally negative situations happen it is normal that a decision of this kind is made, given that everyone, including the referee, was emotionally involved and the decision was spontaneously in front of a which I hope is not very serious. I wanted to convey my thoughts on behalf of all of Inter and the world of football.”
Will the next matches also be postponed?
“I must say that we have not addressed the issue, we are faced with an unfortunately relevant fact from the point of view of the health of a 22 year old boy, I believe that the concentration is on the fact of his health, we hope he can come out of it well, from tomorrow we will evaluate the situations linked to a possible recovery”.
