The outside of Fiorentina Robin Gosens spoke to the microphones of TNT Sports of his experience with the Inter shirt, today’s opponent of the Viola:
“Although many say that this year and a half hasn’t been a positive experience, I honestly don’t agree. Of course, everyone expected, me first and foremost, that I would play more, but sometimes in football things happen that They are beyond your control. Nobody expected at the time that Dimarco would have a season like that. He exploded and was doing great, and he’s still doing it. Every time the coach gave me the chance, I tried to give the best and to do the difference. Obviously, I was hoping to play more.
That was also Inter’s intention when they bought me for 28 million euros, that I would be the left back for the next few years. Nobody expected Dimarco to have a season like this. But if I think back to that period, I only have positive feelings, because I played with many champions, I won some titles, we reached the Champions League final. For a year and a half San Siro was my home, perhaps one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. So, I could never look back with negative feelings. Obviously, I would have liked to have had more minutes, but I am very proud to have played for this fantastic team. I can’t wait to see the boys on Sunday.”
