During his interview on AC Milan’s official channels to comment on the renewal of the contract until 2029, the defender Matteo Gabbia he also spoke about personal and team ambitions and goals:
What does a club like Milan represent?
“I think I was very good at saying, in short, in these three words, history, passion, responsibility, because they truly represent what Milan is. At this moment I hope that with these years of contract, with this time that will bind me again with this fantastic club, may I enter even further into the history of this club by trying to get satisfaction together with my teammates, winning titles which will then certainly bring us into the history of such a glorious club.”
What are the team goals?
“The team objectives are easy, in the sense that we must continuously grow in the meantime, to be able to find continuity which must be very important for us within this season. Then obviously, as I always say, Milan’s objective is that of taking to the field every match and winning. This is what we must have in our heads when looking match by match.”
Your personal goals?
“Personally, that of continuing to deserve the trust of this club, which always deserves, with consistency, what is commitment, dedication and sacrifice. And then, precisely, I think that my personal objectives are very linked to those I have first mentioned of the team”.
