Bologna, Castro: “The comparison with Lautaro made me proud but I want to be judged only like Castro”

El Torito Castro is one of the nicknames given to the striker born in 2004 Bologna Santiago Castro due to his resemblance to Inter’s Lautaro Martinez. A comparison that initially made the rossoblù striker proud who however brought out all his pride: “At first I was proud because he is my idol, as was Tevez who I was also compared to. But now I prefer that we talk about it of me for what I am. I want to be judged like Santiago Castro and that’s it” his words to the microphones of SportWeek.

Castro also spoke about his way of being on the pitch. The striker is ‘annoying’, he talks to his opponents by provoking them on the pitch: “It’s a (textual) mentality game, it depends on the match and the opponent. I often look at him and laugh.” Castro added: “Every now and then I threaten them: “Now I’ll score for you”. Or I tell them: “What a shit match” (and he doesn’t specify whether his opinion is on the match in general or on the performance of his goalscorer), or :“Hey, now he hit me hard.”
