Do you believe in escaping at the top of Serie A?
“In this championship I don’t see a situation comparable to the last two seasons. I still see Inter as the favorite to reach the title, Napoli are freer mentally, given that they don’t have Europe, but they’re still not convincing me very much. And Napoli always have the Lukaku problem, because if he’s not at the top the whole team suffers.”
Is Napoli making a masterpiece for you?
“I’m very cautious. The top players are Lukaku and Kvaratskhelia, who isn’t very calm. In this I see Politano and McTominay who are taking the team forward. Napoli have a great opportunity but they must also be careful. More than an escape, I expect a surprise this round.”
Abraham and Morata, a couple that scores little compared to the big names in Italy and Europe: why?
“You attack Fonseca’s Milan and that’s fine, due to the season and the problems of this team, but when you talk about Motta’s Juventus certain things aren’t said. Milan’s problem is there but so is Juventus’ problem to the same extent. We agree on Fonseca, there is a problem with the game, but Milan have shown that they are a great team, especially in some big matches like Inter and Real Milan, they have already lost too earthy, but all the same the discussion must be made for Juve. They have both done badly so far.”
